We were challenged with making a primary suite luxurious and dark enough for our homeowner who works the third shift to sleep in during the daytime. First, we selected a paint color by Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze for the walls, then we chose a gorgeous wall covering by York Wall coverings. Next, I wanted to add architectural detail to the space so we decided to add picture molding on the walls! This surely stepped the space up a notch.
We balanced the room with warm and cool tones. Adding the beautiful blue custom drapery added blackout and also a pop of color to the moody room.
Before this space was drab and lacked character adding a dramatic wall color and an extra high headboard made the space look sophisticated and luxurious.
